ABSTRACT:
Substance use disorder is the medical term used to describe a pattern of using a substance that causes significant problem or distress. Adolescents are exposed to multiple substances available in their environment which makes them highly purchase at a younger age. A pre-experimental one group pre and post-test study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of STP on substance abuse among nursing students. Assessment was done with 20 questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The study revealed that the knowledge obtained by STP is good than in existed knowledge.
