Objectives: To assess the awareness of Pulmonary rehabilitation among the COPD patient, to associate the knowledge scores among the COPD patients with selected demographic variable. Method: A total of 200 patients were enrolled using purposive sampling in this cross sectional study. A total of 20 questions were included in this questionnaire. These questions were divided into two domains that included COPD disease (01-08) and pulmonary rehabilitation (09-20). Result: Majority of the COPD patients 98 (49%) had poor knowledge regarding COPD pulmonary rehabilitation , followed by 65 (32.5%) had average knowledge and 37 (18.5%) had good knowledge regarding COPD rehabilitation. Chi-Square test there is a significant association between demographic characteristics namely; History of exposure to smoke, Duration of exposure to pollutants, Duration of Illness (p<0.05) and remaining characteristics are not significant (p>0.05) .Conclusion: This study showed the Chronic Obstructive patients have poor knowledge scores on COPD rehabilitation.
